FAQs

  • Q

Can I use Reynolds® Cut-Rite® Wax Paper in the oven?

    A

Wax paper should not be directly exposed to the heat of an oven.

However, Reynolds® Cut-Rite® Wax Paper may be used as a pan liner when baking foods in which the dough or batter completely covers the wax paper lining.

  • Q

What is the difference between Wax Paper and Parchment Paper?

    A

Wax paper is made by applying a coating of wax to a thin paper sheet, which makes it easy to remove foods from the paper.

While Parchment paper has a non-stick coating produced through a special ‘parchmentizing’ process.

The way they are made means that both are microwave safe, but only Parchment paper is oven safe (up to 425°F).
